Here is the deal, every success and failure can be traced back to a belief. The problem is most people don’t even realize their brain is operating from a faulty premise! Good news… It’s TOTALLY possible to build a bigger, better, stronger belief (one that helps you win more, play better, and live happier!) Are you ready to uncover the one thing that is holding you back?

In this brilliantly edutaining 45-60 min presentation, World Champion athlete and Olympic Psychologist, Dr. Jason Richardson teaches us the neuroscience of belief and how you can use the Belief Matrix to coach yourself (team) in to better returns. You will also learn how to reprogram yourself (team) for more success. Jason will literally give you the important plays from his pro athlete playbook.

Morning Speaker: Chastity Mays

Session Title: How Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Can Benefit Your Workplace

Presentation Description:
In the presentation we will discuss how creating a diverse, equitable, and inclusive (DEI) workplace has huge benefits. Striving for better DEI practices can positively impact creativity, productivity, and collaboration. DEI has the potential to increase sales, increase customer base and increase profits. DEI is the right thing to do and it also makes good business sense. Companies that fail to take steps to prioritize DEI find themselves behind their competition, unable to attract and retain workers and struggle to meet goals. This presentation will discuss these ideas and more for the benefit of the Southern Illinois region and beyond.

Attendees will leave with actionable insights on how to create a startup culture within their own organizations.

Session Title: Fixing Recruitment & Retention with a Little TLC

Presentation Description:
The way we’re working… isn’t working.

Two recent studies—and seemingly every other news story—remind us there’s a systemic sickness in America. Call it The Great Resignation. Call it Quiet Quitting. Heck, call it Betty Lou… because no matter what you call it, it’s affecting all of us in unprecedented ways..

According to Gallup, in our post-pandemic world, voluntary employee turnover costs a company with 100 employees between $550,000 and $2.2mm annually. Another Gallup poll said that—among those who do stay—distracted, disengaged employees cost US companies alone more than $650,000,000,000 in lost hours, missed goals, and wasted opportunities.

But you don’t need scientific data to tell you there’s a problem, do you? And as well as anyone, you know it’s far worse than just the financial cost. It’s a disease affecting everyone in the company—spreading like an invisible virus with no name and no face, but with devastating consequences among those who remain.

A poor company culture costs money, time, attention, energy, optimism, and a sense of community sorely missing in a post-pandemic world. Not only will you never near your apogee, you’ll never get off the ground—instead sinking deeper and deeper into the pit of mediocrity.

Tim’s company has helped clients across the US and Canada reverse those terrifying trends, and they will help you, too.

In this engaging, electrifying presentation, you’ll learn what’s really been happening, why, and most importantly, what to do about it whether you have 2 or 2000 employees. We’ll give you 15 tested tools to T-verb your teamwork, leadership, and company culture to recalibrate your recruitment and retention programs.

But… be warned. Things are going to get a little weird. You won’t find these tools in all the famous business books or CEO autobiographies.

These tools don’t come from the business world. They were born out of the love for a boy who looks at the world a little differently.

In a post-COVID world, everything is different now, and in order to track toward your apogee in 2023 and beyond, you must trust one thing: You need a little TLC because today, every good company starts with heart.

Tim was unable to join us for the November 17th event, but will do another presentation in Spring 2023. APOGEE attendees are welcome to attend as part of their November event registration.
