Automotive Service Writer

This department can get very busy and takes an individual who can maintain a fast-paced, face to face with customers challenge. We are looking for someone who works hard, communicates clearly and is interested in a real career with long term potential. We are seeking a qualified Automotive Service Writer. This position is for our Benton location.

Job Summary The Service Writer welcomes and receives our customers and responds to their basic service needs. The Service Writer will schedule services in a manner that proves most time efficient and positive for the customer. The hours for this position are M - F 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Job Duties:

• Ability to effectively communicate with customers regarding services performed
• Performs duties in a manner that optimizes the "customer service experience"
• Performs opening and closing responsibilities of the Department
• Answers phones, interact with customers, help with parts acquisitions and detailed paperwork entry
• Performs other duties as requested

Requirements:

• Must possess excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. This person should be dependable, friendly, enthusiastic and self-motivated.
• Experience as a Service Writer in either a dealership, high volume tire or auto repair center is preferred but not required.
• Strong organizational skills including the ability to effectively manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks and complete assignments within expected time frames.
• Must be knowledgeable about automobiles.
• Organized and capable of working effectively as part of a team or on individually-assigned tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
