Do you know someone looking for a career changing experience?

 

We will be hosting a Career Changing Opportunity virtual event on April 7th from 3 pm to 7 pm. Attendees will be able to meet and greet business professionals and discuss job opportunities in our region. The online platform provides attendees with the flexibility to work around employment and personal schedules.


To participate in interviews or ask questions to career hosts, you only need to log into the site from 3-7 p.m. on the day of the event and click on the meeting link for the employer(s) you wish to speak with. All those seeking career opportunities are asked to have a digital copy of their resume ready for the day of the event and be prepared to virtually meet exhibitors of the career fair through Zoom, Google Meet or other online platforms. All job seekers should be prepared to be on video during their meetings with exhibitors.

ASE Certified is preferred but not required.

Automotive Service Writer

Do you have great customer service, excellent follow up, and a positive attitude? We are looking for you! This department can get very busy and takes an individual who can maintain a fast-paced, face to face with customers challenge. We are looking for someone who works hard, communicates clearly and is interested in a real career with long term potential. We are seeking a qualified Automotive Service Writer. This position is for our Benton location.


Job Summary The Service Writer welcomes and receives our customers and responds to their basic service needs. The Service Writer will schedule services in a manner that proves most time efficient and positive for the customer. The hours for this position are M - F 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Job Duties:

  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers regarding services performed
  • Performs duties in a manner that optimizes the "customer service experience"
  • Performs opening and closing responsibilities of the Department
  • Answers phones, interact with customers, help with parts acquisitions and detailed paperwork entry
  • Performs other duties as requested

Requirements:

  • Must possess excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. This person should be dependable, friendly, enthusiastic and self-motivated.
  • Experience as a Service Writer in either a dealership, high volume tire or auto repair center is preferred but not required.
  • Strong organizational skills including the ability to effectively manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks and complete assignments within expected time frames.
  • Must be knowledgeable about automobiles.
  • Organized and capable of working effectively as part of a team or on individually-assigned tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
