The Marion Chamber of Commerce Membership Committee will be the link between the Chamber and its members and in so doing will seek to inform members about Chamber activities, identify any concerns members have about the Chamber, and identify the challenges they face. Further, the Committee will seek to be a catalyst for creating new programs and activities that can be tailored to the needs of individual members.

Their Goals Include:
Supporting membership drives
Coordinating New Member Quarterly Luncheons
Surveying members and reviewing the collected data
Serving as Chamber Ambassadors, including:
Regularly contacting new and renewing members
Encouraging members to attend various Chamber events
Discovering ways the Chamber can fulfill the needs of its members
Inviting new members to join them for a networking event
Showing new members other ways to get involved and get the most of out their Chamber membership
Understanding the ways one could become engaged in the Chamber (serving on committees, taking advantage of Chamber promotions and member-to-member discounts, etc.)
Being a “Welcome Wagon” for the Chamber to help grow the connection between the new member and their Chamber
Review Drop Report and contact businesses as necessary.
